PHILANTHROPY

The ASA Sacramento Philanthropy Committee inspires collective greatness that can only be achieved by our members working together, and we harness that greatness for the betterment of our industry and community.

ASA runs a scholarship program, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, organizes river cleanup crews, and provides assistance to children's homes and veterans halls.

All members are welcomed and encouraged to get involved with these programs. Email the Chapter Executive Director to sign up.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Every year, ASA Sacramento gives away thousands of dollars to students to help them through their education.

How many dollars and how many students we get to help is based entirely on the generosity of our members and partners.  Keep an eye out for raffles, sponsorships, and events that directly fund the scholarship program.

If you're feeling generous right this moment and can't contain it any longer, please click below to donate now!

COPPER FOR KIDS

ASA Sacramento is a proud partner and supporter of Copper for Kids, benefiting Sierra Forever Families, a private, nonprofit agency that facilitates the development of forever families by making the best possible connections between children and families.

IMAGINE COPPER CHANGING A CHILD'S LIFE

The Copper for Kids campaign was established to raise funds to place and support the nearly 3,000 local children in foster care with permanent, loving families by way of foster-adoption. By collecting scrap copper and other recyclable materials from job sites or by making a donation, you and your company will make a lasting impact on the life of a child!

"We know that adoption is a very personal and emotional process for all involved, and our goal is to equip children and parents for success. We aren’t focused on creating the most families; we’re focused on creating the most stable and caring families."
